Air B&B Review- The Studio // Cotswolds

This stay was gifted, but all opinions are my own. I do not accept or write about gifted stays unless I truly enjoy them.

Last weekend, Kee and I headed to the heart of the Cotswolds for a couple of days away! We were kindly invited to stay at The Studio, a gorgeous AirB&B hosted by the lovely Davina.

The Studio is in the vicinity of Davina's gorgeous family home, but is totally self contained with its own separate entrance and parking, affording us total privacy across the entire weekend. Davina spent the first lockdown transforming it into the gorgeous space it is today, set with a big double bed, beautiful bathroom and a kitchen space with a microwave, fridge and (most importantly) a coffee machine!

Even before we arrived, Davina was helpfully in touch with restaurant and cafe recommendations and helped us plan the itinerary for our entire trip. When we arrived, she greeted us and checked we were happy with everything before leaving us to check in privately.

The front door opens into a wide open space, with the gorgeous King size bed and plush pillows immediately grabbing your attention. To your left is a small kitchen area with a microwave, sink and fridge. Davina also very kindly provides breakfast, orange juice, milk and had even baked some Chocolate and Praline fudge, which she had wrapped up beautifully with a hand written personalised note! There was also a gorgeous bunch of flowers and a personalised greeting card- we could not have felt more welcome, and it was a perfect way to start our weekend in the Cotswolds.

The bedroom is large, with a King size bed and full of luxury touches, such as a Bose speaker and a TV with Netflix and Amazon access! Opposite the bed, there is handy space to hang clothes and a chic table with chairs that tuck away to optimise space within The Studio. The bathroom is just as modern, and is full of the luxury, thoughtful touches I had come to expect from Davina, such as matching shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles, gorgeous The Cotswold Company diffusers and The White Company soap and towels, as well as electric toothbrush charger and a hair dryer!

The location of The Studio is also wonderful- there are gorgeous walks right on your doorstep, and it is a short distance from 'Must- See' historic spots in the Cotswolds such as Burford, Bibury, Cirencester and Lechlade to name but a few! There are also award winning pubs within walking distance, and Davina was more than happy to recommend the best places to eat and drink in the area.

We had the most wonderful weekend exploring some of the most beautiful spots in England, and Davina's Studio was the perfect base for us! We could not have asked for anything more from her as a host, or the space itself and I'm sure we will be back in no time.
